Amanda McCorquodale is a contributing writer at The Salonniere who specializes in historical features. She has edited wine magazines, business journals, and culture blogs and written on everything from graffiti movements to grand symphony halls in publications ranging from Gourmet and The Huffington Post to Modern Luxury’s Miami magazine to Seattle magazine. Amanda has also served in editorial capacities at Gotham magazine and Wine News magazine. Raised in Florida, Amanda learned the art of the curtsey in the cotillions of Miami Beach, holds a Master of Arts Degree in Cultural Studies from Carnegie Mellon University, and now resides in New York.
