Labor Day Playlist on The Salonniere

While Labor Day tends to be the day we bid adieu to summer, it is also an important national holiday – signed into law in 1894 by President Grover Cleveland – that recognizes the economic achievements of the American worker. In other words, with 144 million Americans laboring to contribute to our economy, there are 144 million really good reasons to throw a party this September 7th.

To help you with your Labor Day party planning, we’ve come up with a playlist that will honor the significance of the holiday and create a festive vibe for your last-day-of-summer soirée. Grab a 9 to 5 cocktail and join us as we toast the American worker. And, in the spirit of the holiday, let’s hustle, doll.

Oh, and don’t forget that Labor Day is the last day of the season for seersucker – the material used during the Old West to make overalls, work jackets and caps for train engineers and railroad workers – so cute little seersucker cocktail napkins like these are a Labor Day party must.
